For
5th & 6th graders
What is Living
Stones?
Living Stones was specially written for children in grades five and six. The program was made possible by a grant from a Fort Worth Foundation.
When
It begins on Friday evening at 7 PM and concludes on Saturday afternoon about 4 PM.
Where:
Living Stones will be
held in churches and Episcopal Schools.
Staff:
A team of adults and clergy and older teens who will serve as group leaders staff it.
What happens:
While the clergy will give
several talks, most of the short talks will be given by teens that will witness
to the younger youth. This event helps
children see themselves as God sees them.
Using skits, games,
graphics and music, Living Stones attempts to show the children how they can
take all their cares and burdens to Jesus.
It also shows them that each one of them is very important in building
God’s Kingdom.
What to bring:
Everyone should bring a
sleeping bag and pillow and a healthy snack to share. Please leave all electronic devices at home.
Cost:
The cost is $25 per
